“Run Free: The True Story of Caballo Blanco,” as feature-length documentary about ultra-running legend Micah True will premiere at the Barrymore Theatre in Madison on Tuesday, November 10 at 7 p.m. The one-night-only event is sponsored by the Wisconsin Track Club.

Also known as the Rarámuri, or Running People, they are some of the best long-distance runners in the world.
Race Team Update - August 2015 PDF Print E-mail

A few members of the Movin' Shoes Race Team were back in action on August 22nd at the Cheesehead Run in Hilbert, WI. The race features both a half-marathon and a 5k.

Janesville's native daughter and Drosophila melanogaster enthusiast, Lisa Sudmeier, raced to a 2nd place finish in the women's division, covering the half-marathon course in 1:27:02. Karlye Wolff, a gal who truly loves running in the pack and just recently learned how to ride a bike, finished not far behind in 4th place with a time of 1:28:45.   Following the race, both women could be seen enjoying the fruits of their labor in the customary Hilbert fashion of eating copious amounts of cheese, a finisher's prize from the kind directors and sponsors of the race.
