Come visit us during Commuter Solutions Week and learn how you, too, could find an alternative to driving alone! Keep fit and have fun! The UW Transportation Services Commuter Solutions Team will help you plan a safe route. Like the 17,000 or so runners at the start of the GO! St. Louis marathon, half-marathon and marathon relay on Sunday, Elliot Bennett of Madison, Wis., has prepared to push himself farther and faster. He's running his first marathon.

Unlike the others, Elliot won't share his nervousness or exhaustion or exhilaration. Even with a running partner watching his every stride, he'll be an island.

UW Madison Spring Sprint for the Arb

The UW-Madison Spring Sprint for the Arb will take place this Saturday April 17th at 10am at the Arboretum Visitor Center.  There will be a 5k run on the road, and a 1 mile trail walk with naturalists.  All proceeds from the Sprint will benefit the University of Wisconsin-Madison Arboretum currently celebrating its 75th Anniversary!  Click here for more information.

Join 2-5 of your closest friends to participate in a season opener relay event. The Mad City 50k Relay takes place Saturday, April 10th.  Each team member runs a 10k loop through the beautiful University of Wisconsin Arboretum.
