Dances With Dirt


Join us July 10, 2010 for a muddy, hilly, rocky, insanely fun trail run!  Movin' Shoes is sponsoring the Dances with Dirt (DWD) 50 mile relay, 50 mile run, 50k run, half marathon, and marathon.  The races will be held at Devil's Lake in Baraboo, WI.

June 13, 2010 - This past weekend approximately 240 teams of  anywhere between 2 and 12 people participated on a 200-mile adventure race from Madison, Wisconsin, to the shores of the Windy City of Chicago.  Congratulations to Team Movin' Shoes for placing first in the Ultra division and 5th among all teams!  Click here to visit the race website.

Capitol View Triathlon - Sunday June 13, 2010 PDF Print E-mail

This Sunday June 13, 2010 nearly 1,000 triathletes will be competing in the Capitol View Triathlon at Governor Nelson State Park in Madison, WI. The Leukemia Ironman Fundraiser for Eric (L.I.F.E.) will be hosting Run Aid Station #3.   L.I.F.E., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization was created in honor of Eric McLean, the younger brother of Movin' Shoes employee Mike McLean.  Eric was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia in 2003. Their  mission is to promote awareness of leukemia, and to raise money for cancer research, scholarships, and survivorship. A team of athletes has been formed to help raise funds, including Eric’s older brother Mike who will be racing in his 5th Ironman Wisconsin this summer for the Janus Charity Challenge.
