The Arbor Ridge Trail Race follows Wisconsin’s iconic Ice Age Trail through Janesville’s secluded and serene Robert O. Cook Memorial Arboretum. The 5k, 8k or 16k routes through heavily-shaded forest, over roots and rocks, around a flowering meadow, and along a meandering stream. The mostly single-track Arbor Ridge Trail offers some challenging climbs and equally rewarding downhills. The Arbor Ridge Trail Race will have the excitement of an inaugural event and the professionalism of tested trail races. Competitors can expect chip-timed results, well-marked courses, adequate aid stations, overall and age division awards, finisher shirts, and post-race festivities. The Arbor Ridge Trail Race is open to competitive and recreational runners of all ages. We are also tossing in a free 1K fun run for the kids.
